Edgewords: Renewal – submissions are now closed
We are delighted at the response to our call for submissions and are currently reading through the wonderful pieces we have received. Thank you, we will be in touch soon and will list the pieces we have selected here on Wednesday 31 October.
Anthology launch – save the date!
Edgewords: Renewal will be launched in the evening on Saturday 8 December at The Edge Café. All contributors to the anthology will be invited to read/perform their work at the event. Last year’s launch was lots of fun and a huge success; this year’s will, no doubt, be even better.
Edgewords started life in a writing workshop run by Oblique Arts and held at The Edge Café under the direction of Jean Dark. It is being continued as an annual publication – edited by Jean Dark, Lisa Evans and Munizha Ahmad-Cooke – to raise funds for The Edge Café’s work, supporting people in recovery from addiction.
